The CIF-Southern Section released its All-CIF softball squads on Monday, and San Marino sophomore pitcher shortstop Michelle Floyd was the lone Titan to earn a spot on the Division 5 roster.
Floyd combined to form one of the best pitching-hitting combinations in the area for a San Marino squad that finished second in the Rio Hondo League and advanced to the .
At the plate, Floyd hit .491 with two home runs, four doubles and 13 RBIs. But she was even more effective in the circle, posting a 0.78 ERA in 125 1/3 innings. Floyd struck out 222 batters and gave up only 14 earned runs on 55 hits.
