Correction: This article originally stated Judy Chu had been elected as South Pasadena's congresswoman. Chu currently represents the 32nd district but faces in the November general election to serve as congresswoman of the 27th district, which does include South Pasadena.

Kristen, Please help me understand some of the captions on your additional photos. Photo #'s 125 & 133 are of Judy Chu with the captions describing her as "New Congressional Representative, Judy Chu" & "Newly elected Congresswoman Judy Chu greets her new constituency". Heres my confusion: I have always been under the impression that to hold public/federal office you must first be elected to that office and in the case of federal elections, the law clearly states that the federal election shall be held on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November--in this case November 6, 2012. When was Judy Chu elected to represent the City of South Pasadena? Also, photo #88 shows Representative Adam Schiff & his wife riding in the parade---with no caption. Why? Was he voted out of office? Is he not still our Representative? (Adam Schiff is easily & by far the best Representative South Pasadena has had in the 34 years I have lived in this City). Despite my confusion these are great photos.

Sam- I spent well over an hour attaching captions to photos, I have no idea what happened to them.
