The celebration will include food booths, a fun zone, a community parade, stage entertainment, and a fireworks display at approximately 9 p.m.
July 4 will also coincide with the kick-off of the .
July 4th Event Rules:
- The Virginia Road entrance to Lacy Park will open at 8 a.m.
- You MUST have a wristband to enter.
- No entrance will be allowed via St. Albans Road until 3 p.m.
- Guests may reserve areas using blankets and chairs; no stakes or ropes will be permitted.
How to get your 4th of July wristbands:
Residents: Pre-sale wristbands will be available for $5 each. Proof of residency will be requested; bring an identification card with your address or a utility bill. Children 2 and under are free.
Non-residents: Pre-sale wristbands will be available for $15 each. Children 2 and under are free.
You may purchase wristbands from the locations listed below. Please note that days and times vary.
Recreation Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
