San Marino July 4th Celebration: What to Know

Find out the hours, prices, events and other important information for the City of San Marino's July 4th 2012 celebration, which also coincides with the City's Centennial kick-off.

The celebration will include food booths, a fun zone, a community parade, stage entertainment, and a fireworks display at approximately 9 p.m.

  • The Virginia Road entrance to Lacy Park will open at 8 a.m.
  • You MUST have a wristband to enter.
  • No entrance will be allowed via St. Albans Road until 3 p.m.
  • Guests may reserve areas using blankets and chairs; no stakes or ropes will be permitted.

How to get your 4th of July wristbands:

Residents: Pre-sale wristbands will be available for $5 each. Proof of residency will be requested; bring an identification card with your address or a utility bill. Children 2 and under are free.

Non-residents: Pre-sale wristbands will be available for $15 each. Children 2 and under are free.

You may purchase wristbands from the locations listed below. Please note that days and times vary.

Recreation Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 
5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Sales: June 18 through July 3; Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ALL wristbands purchased on the Fourth of July are $20 each (for residents and non-residents). Children 2 and under are free. For more information about the event, please call (626) 943-2627.
