Alison Bell, Neighbor

Alison is a freelance journalist, author, writing instructor, and college essay coach. She is the author of the five-book children’s series, the Zibby Payne books, and 10 non-fiction books. She is a former contributer to the Los Angeles Times’ “Then and Now” column, and her articles have appeared in numerous national magazines including Parenting, Baby Talk, and Woman’s World.

Alison has a BA in Comparative Literature from Occidental College and studied in the Comparative Literature Ph.D. program at UC Berkeley. She has also worked as a copy editor, publicist, and reality TV producer. Visit Alison's website at www.alisonbellauthor.com.
