Recently we asked local moms if they would be interested in joining the , which is a group of moms that chooses one parent-related question each week for our . Moms Talk starts today so we wanted to introduce you to two of the moms who helped choose the topic and will be discussing it on San Marino Patch.

3. How many kids do you have?

Two; a 3 ½-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy. They attend Kids Klub...soon to be going to Valentine.

4. Why did you decide to join the Mom's Council?

To get more involved in the community and to share and learn from other moms.

5. What do you like most about being a mom?  

The complete rest I get...ha ha just kidding. I really enjoy the funny things they say and the way they are able to absorb everything and remember everything (especially when I can't remember what I wore yesterday). I especially love loving them!

6. What is your favorite thing to do in San Marino with your kids?  

We enjoy spending time with our neighbors and riding our bikes at Lacy Park.

Four children; two girls, two boys

Stephanie, 26 (in law school)

Stanley, 20 (junior in college)

Vanessa, 13 (eighth grader at Huntington Middle School)

4. Why did you decide to join the Mom's Council?

I enjoy sharing and meeting people.

5. What do you like most about being a mom?

Being the support and loving our children for what they are.  

6. What is your favorite thing to do in San Marino with your kids?

Spend time at home eating meals together, like BBQ and hot pot. Especially with adult children’s schedules, it’s a challenge to have all my children under one roof!
