Lecture - Obsession Gone Right: The Rosenblum Collection
Wednesday, March 13 at 7 p.m. 
Location: Ahmanson Room, Botanical Center
Cost: Free

Anna Rosenblum Palmer will tell the story of a determined collector—her father, Richard Rosenblum—who was the leading western advocate for the ancient art form of Chinese scholar’s rocks, and who actively promoted its study and appreciation within the fine art community. Free; no reservations required. 

Second Thursday Garden Talk: Succulents of Southern Africa
Thursday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Ahmanson Room, Botanical Center.

Nurseryman and succulent expert Buck Hemenway will give an illustrated lecture about his recent travels to Namibia and South Africa, highlighting some of the unusual plants he encountered there. A plant sale follows the program. Free; no reservations required.
