Where to Get Super Bowl Party Food

Patch has uncovered local deals to help you host the best Super Bowl shindig or bring some yummy food to wherever you're watching the game.

Nothing says "touchdown" better than a Super Bowl game on TV coupled with a wide variety of party munchies (unless, of course, your team is also scoring the touchdowns while you're eating the goodies).

Here's a list of places you can go to for your Super Bowl needs:

1. : When I think about the Super Bowl food must-haves, I think about coleslaw, chili, salsa, chicken salad and potato salad. If you’re like me, you’ll be happy to hear that the San Marino Grill is offering specials on these items. Pick up a quart of homemade chili for $13.95 and while you’re getting the chili, don’t forget the homemade salsa—just $5.25 for a 8-10 oz container. Other tasty items you can order from the San Marino Grill are: chicken salad for $9.95/lb; coleslaw for $6.99/lb; and potato salad for $6.99/lb.

Hours/Ordering: The Grill will be closing at 3 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday so just be sure to call in on Saturday so the Grill can have your order ready for you to pick up before the big game.

2. If you’re a Patriots fan, what better way to celebrate the Patriots fighting for the Vince Lombardi Trophy than chowing down on some New England clam chowder from San Marino Seafood? Order a quart to-go for $12.95. San Marino Seafood can also prepare platters of shrimp, crab, and smoked fish for your Super Bowl party. Shrimp and cocktail sauce, anyone? You can order medium shrimp for $21.95/lb.

Hours/Ordering: San Marino Seafood suggests calling 48 hours in advance so they can prepare your party platter. The restaurant will be closing early on Sunday. You can pick up your seafood platter on Sunday morning before the restaurant closes.

3. : For anyone who’s a fan of finger food, Garnish Café can prepare meat and cheese platters that cost about $4.95 per person. Besides an assortment of meat and cheeses, the platters also include fruits and nuts.

Hours/Ordering: The platters are available by preorder and Friday at 10 a.m. is the deadline to order them. You can pick up the platters on Saturday because Garnish Café will be closed on Super Bowl Sunday.

4. : Julienne has prepared a special takeout menu just for the Super Bowl. The menu consists of delectable dips, appetizers, entrees and side dishes, and pastries. Order the Spicy Vidalia Onion Dip for $6.95 a pint. In the mood for Mexican food while watching the game? Order the chicken taquitos with Julienne guacamole for $26.95 a dozen or mini beef empanadas for $30 a dozen.

Hours/Ordering: The menu will be available Feb. 3 and 4 for pick-up after 11 a.m. Julienne will be closed on Super Bowl Sunday. Follow the instructions on the menu if you’d like to place an order.

5. : If you’re thinking about ordering several pizzas for your Super Bowl party guests, will be open regular hours (11 a.m. to 9 p.m.).  Tony’s Pizza suggests ordering your pizzas ahead of time so your order arrives on time since deliveries during the Super Bowl will be hectic.
