Governor Names San Marino Doctor to Medical Board

The position requires senate confirmation.

Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday appointed San Marino doctor Felix Yip to the Medical Board of California.

Yip, 58, has served as the chief executive officer at Felix Chi-Ming Yip MD Inc. Medical Clinic since 1987. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicic and Public Health.

The compensation for the position is $100 per diem.
