SMPD Blotter: Burglary, Vandalism, DUI…and a Stolen Pen?

Burglary, vandalism, forgery and more occurred in San Marino over the past week.

The following incidents took place between April 26 and May 2 and were selected from the San Marino Police Department log.

April 26

7:21 p.m.            A traffic collision with injuries occurred in the 500 block of Old Mill Road.

April 27

10:14 a.m.            A traffic collision with injuries occurred at El Molino Avenue and Mission Street.

April 29

12:39 p.m.            A report was taken for a traffic collision with injuries at Huntington Drive and San Marino Avenue.

1:49 p.m.            A forgery report was taken in the 3100 block of Huntington Drive when an unknown female used two fraudulent checks to purchase gift certificates.

6:33 p.m.            A burglary report was taken in the 1800 block of McFarlane Street. A laptop and jewelry were stolen.

April 30

1:00 a.m.            A traffic stop at Huntington Drive and Bellwood Road resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

12:28 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken for a package stolen from a porch in the 2000 block of Lombardy Road.

May 1

9:14 a.m.            A petty theft report was taken for a wallet stolen from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Del Mar Avenue.

11:55 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken in the 1500 block of Westhaven Road when someone stole a bicycle and replaced it with another bicycle.

May 2

7:25 a.m.            A vandalism report was taken for a smashed windshield in the 2800 block of Carlaris Road.

1:36 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken in the 2700 block of Huntington Drive for a stolen pen.
