SMPD Blotter: Theft, DUIs, Handgun Threat

Theft, DUIs and a man alleging he was threatened by another man with a handgun are among the incidents that occurred over the past week.

The following incidents took place between Feb. 1 and Feb. 7 and were selected from the San Marino Police Department log.

Feb. 1

 8:58 a.m.            A traffic collision with injuries occurred at San Gabriel and San Pasqual.

9:06 a.m.            A traffic collision with injuries occurred at San Gabriel and Huntington.

1:19 p.m.            A report was taken for ammunition that was brought into the station for destruction.

Feb. 2

1:09 p.m.            A supplemental burglary report was taken in the 2000 block of Huntington Drive.

Feb. 3

1:23 p.m.            A juvenile problem was reported in the 1600 block of Las Flores Avenue. The juveniles were advised by officers.

3:19 p.m.            A traffic collision with injuries was reported at Duarte and San Gabriel.

6:35 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken for a bicycle that was stolen in the 800 block of Winthrop Road.

Feb. 6

12:44 p.m.            A report was taken for suspicious circumstances in the 1700 block of Warwick Road when a male stated that a male Hispanic threatened him with a handgun. The subject was described as a male Hispanic in a white Ford SUV.

2:14 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken for a missing cell phone in the 800 block of Orlando Road.

5:07 p.m.            A traffic stop in the 3100 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

Feb. 7

12:06 a.m.            A traffic stop in the 1600 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

10:25 a.m.            A grand theft report was taken in the 900 block of Orlando Road for a stolen lawn mower.
