Notice last winter...warm and dry...notice summer...wet, humid, and hot - say call it the tropical monsoon...Shell Oil is drilling for in the Arctic Ocean - second time in 30years (I was in the first one)...the weather (="climate...) seems to be ...changing"...is it "Global Warming"??? good hypothesis and seems to be gaining crediability. I actually studied climate changes for my PhD at UCB 67-78 and yeah the current facts are consistent with GW and CC. Weather becomes more random...wetter in summer drier in winter and lesssss ice in the Arctic, less snow in the Sierra and Rockies... So yes such temps. 99oF in San Marino, white sharks off the Calif.coast, and drilling in the Arctic are Global Warming...here and now and sooner than Gore thought it would be...let's hope for but don't expect a wetter/colder than normal winter...or be prepared for really high waterr bills for all the green trees and lawns in San Marino.

I was just at the Huntington for a press event and it was scorching! Wear sunblock and a big hat and tote around a water bottle if you must go out!
