- 'Images of San Marino' exhibit in the Crain Art Gallery: Local artists will exhibit paintings or photos depicting life in San Marino. The Crain Gallery is located in the Crowell Public Library, 1890 Huntington Drive, San Marino. For more information, email Lynda Lyons at llyons@cityofsanmarino.org.

- California Art Club pays tribute to the City of San Marino's Centennial with a special exhibition of paintings of sites of San Marino. On display until May 5, 2013, this will be at the Old Mill, 1120 Old Mill Road, San Marino. Tuesday-Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Cathy at oldmill@sbcglobal.net.

- February 6, 13, 20, 27 - Preschool Series: One Hundred Years Ago. From 10 a.m. to noon, , 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino. Join the centennial celebration as we explore what life was like growing up a century ago. Led by instructor, Laura Moede, each class will feature art projects, stories and more. - February 13 - Centennial Ash Wednesday Services at San Marino Community Church at noon and 7 p.m. in the San Marino Community Church, Christ Chapel, 1750 Virginia Road, San Marino.

- February 16, 17 - Chinese New Year Festival from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens, 1151 Oxford Road, San Marino. The two day event will include lion dancers (at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.), martial arts demonstrations, mask-changing performances, folk music, children's book readings, tea tasting, demonstrations, and more. Many of the activities will take place in the Chinese gardens.
