Mayor Named to Natural History Museum Department's Board of Governors

Richard Sun was named to the position by Supervisor Michael Antonovich.

Mayor Richard Sun has been named to the Board of Governors at the Los Angeles County Department of the Museum of Natural History, according to a release from the office of County Supervisor Michael Antonovich.

Sun serves as a real estate developer with S.S.S. Development Inc., along with being a former president of the San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce and the former chairman of the Methodist Hospital Foundation. He received both his Bachelor’s of Arts and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific.

L.A. County operates and maintains the Museum of Natural History via the Department of Museumof Natural History. Members of the Board of Governors also serve on the Foundation's Board of Trustees, with the department's director serving as foundation president.
