SMHS Student Presents Experiment to NASA (PHOTOS)

San Marino High School sophomore Ryan Puri is one of a few San Marino students who worked on a coveted science experiment to launch into space.

Along with a chosen few schools, students got the opportunity to design a science experiment starting last year and send it into space this spring as part of NASA's Student Spaceflight Experiments program.

Over 100 students at SMHS submitted 25 experiments and only three were chosen, SMHS biology teacher Wyeth Collo shared with NASA.

In the photos above, SMHS sophomore Ryan Puri speaks with NASA on May 19 about one of the student experiments.
