Newly Elected School Board Members Take Office Tuesday Night

Incumbent and current SMUSD Board of Education President Chris Norgaard and board newcomer Lisa Link will take the oath of office to begin their four-year terms at Tuesday's Board of Education meeting.

served as Board of Education President for the 2010-11 year and was the President, but gave up her post when she was elected to school board.

Norgaard is an attorney and Link was a practicing attorney for 23 years but put her career on hold last August when she became too busy with volunteer work. Both see the as a main issue to address.
