Dr.  Alexis Anvekar has lived in San Marino since 2001.  She and her husband Dr. Madhu Anvekar married after meeting at USC School of Medicine.  They trained together at LAC+USC Medical Center and served as Chief Medical Residents together.  They have three children who attend San Marino Schools.   Dr. Alexis Anvekar is board certified both in Internal Medicine and Integrative Holistic Medicine.  She has a private practice in Pasadena where she specializes on treating the whole person with a focus on lifestyle and preventative health.  She enjoys photography, cooking and spending time with her family.  She writes a weekly health column for the Patch.
